Cane toad metamorphs

Cane toad metamorphs

North Coast, NSW.

We are hoping that we can use an alarm pheromone to move these guys into areas where their survival is compromised. If we can have them infected with a native frog parasite, Rhabdias as well, maybe we can slow down their spread. The work going on at the University of Queensland and the University of Sydney is very impressive. Photo by Matthew Clarke, NSW NPWS.
